Geodes

Where do you source your geodes?

We consciously source our beautiful amethyst geodes straight from an ethically operated mine in Brazil. These raw pieces of art are crystals that have been naturally formed by the Earth itself. Every piece is one of a kind, so if you love it, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to source one the same again - so make sure you grab it before it goes!

How much do your geodes cost?

It's hard to put a price on natural crystal formations that are millions of years old. But, each one of our geodes has been chosen for its unique beauty and exceptional quality. Each has its own character and price is based upon its weight and the quality of the crystal formation. See our online Geode collection for all pricing.

How do I know which crystal is for me?

Each of our products includes a description of that particular crystals physical, emotional and spiritual properties and how these properties may be beneficial to you in various aspects of your home or work life. However, we believe that you will be drawn to the particular crystal energies that are meant for you. As Feng Shui experts, our products also include tips on the Feng Shui meanings and uses for our crystals. Sustainable Packaging

What packaging do you use?  

Geode + Gem are committed to minimising waste and ensuring that all of our packaging is sustainable, recyclable and eco-friendly.

  • Cocoon paper: We pack our orders with care by using cocoon paper which is a plastic-free substitute for bubble-wrap, and is completely sustainable and environmentally friendly.
  • Eco-friendly cotton bags: Our product bags are made of linen cotton and are 100% eco-friendly.
  • Honeycomb padded mailer: Smaller products will be sent in a honeycomb padded mailer bag, lined with protective cushioning honeycomb paper. These mailers are 100% recyclable and biodegradable.
  • Boxes: Larger products will be sent in a cardboard box, which are 100% recyclable and biodegradable.
  • Pallets: Geodes and larger statement pieces are double packed and secured with sustainable products and shipped on wooden pallets which are 100% recyclable. 
  • Tissue Paper: Our noissue tissue paper is recyclable and compostable. 

 

Returns

Do you offer returns and exchanges? 

If you would like to exchange an item that you have purchased, please contact us at hello@geodeandgem.com.au and we will send you a returns form.

Please be aware that products will only be accepted upon return if they are in original condition and packaging. If any product is deemed to be damaged, we will unfortunately be unable to refund or exchange the product. Once your returns package has been received at the Geode + Gem studio, we will process your return and either issue you with a refund, or contact you regarding shipping payment for your new items if you wish to exchange them.

Please note that the customer will be liable for the postage cost of any return or exchange items. 

*Please also note that we do not offer refunds or exchanges on our geodes.

What is your returns policy?

Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@geodeandgem.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package, however please note that we do not cover return postage and any cost associated with returning your package will be at the customers cost. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions/non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on sale items or any product that is deemed to be used or damaged after being sent from our studio.
  
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
  

Shipping + Pick Up

Do you offer in-store pick up?

The Geode + Gem studio is located in Welshpool, Perth, Western Australia. We offer in-store pick up by appointment only. If you are in Perth and would prefer to pick up your order, please contact hello@geodeandgem.com.au to book an appointment time. 

Where do you ship?

We ship Australia wide!

How much is shipping?

All orders under $150 will be sent via express post and shipped at a flat rate of $15. All orders over $150 have free shipping.

How do you ship your heavy and fragile products such as geodes and statement pieces?

Our geodes and gallery pieces must be handled with the utmost care, so careful packing to ensure they are protected is necessary. Geodes and gallery pieces over 20kg are required to be packed in a box and shipped on a pallet, therefore, shipping costs will vary depending on your delivery address and the weight of the product. Shipping on these items will be automatically calculated at the checkout. We are currently offering FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $150.

Do you offer shipping insurance on your products?

Shipping is not insured by us, however, we do recommend that you add shipping insurance. If you would like to add insurance for your order, please contact us at hello@geodeandgem.com.au and we can provide you with a quote and arrange this with our shipping company.
